One year ago

It's hard to believe that the videos I posted here from Crystal & Aaron's wedding was one year ago!
I went on a cruise to Alaska with Kenneth & his family the end of May-it was a fantastic vacation-we had such a good time on the ship and saw some amazing country. I just love it and would love to live there during the summer but not the winter! Don't think I could handle the darkness in the winter.
I bought a new car 3 weeks ago-I absolutely love it and it has some fun features that I have never had before. Don't think I will wait 10 years again-the industry is changing so fast and it's great to have an amazing car that is enjoyable to drive!

It's been awhile!

I haven't posted for quite some time. This blog originally started as a work project, but I have decided to try to keep it up. I played around and added some gadgets and I am following several people, so hopefully I will keep it up. Nothing new-just work, work, work! This week the weather was beautiful! Got some work done outside and rode my bike, walked, etc. Supposed to be rainy this weekend-don't know what it is that the weather is nice on workdays and bad on days off! Hope to get some scrapbooking done this weekend-should be doing that instead of this!

Thing 23

This was an experience---I have really never been afraid of technology and since I have a computer at home, I run into new things all the time. I had already used You Tube, different photo editing, downloading sites, Facebook, etc. but there is so much out there that I didn't know! I will explore some further-web-based apps, image generators, and flikr to name a few.

It is good to be able to know what people are talking about when they "tweet" and "blog". I will probably keep up my blog or maybe start a new one for my personal use. I will probably not use twitter or googletalk and I use the chat feature in my facebook to talk to people that I actually know!

The downside is this took alot of time and it was challenging to accomplish my work, but I did learn alot. Thanks to those who put this together.

Thing 22

Podcasts-I have listened to Poscasts in the past but this gave me a chance to actually search for some that I would have never thought of. I added Book Talk to my bloglines and also found a poscast for the Nebraska huskers! I listened to a little of the poscast produced by the Lincoln City Library-that is really interesting and a different way to get book reviews out to the public. We have weekly book reviews in our local paper, but everyone does not subscribe to the paper, so this might be an avenue to try!

Thing 21.1

My brother singing a song he wrote for the bride when she was born with a new verse added for her wedding!
